TV24 Information
In spite of an increasing number of viewer choices, the majority of the television audience continues to turn to their free local broadcast stations. That's because local stations provide what cannot be found anywhere else, local news, local information and local public service. 

TV24 began its service to East Alabama in 2002. We have a long-standing reputation of community involvement and commitment to the public. If you have an organization or event you would like to publicize, or a story you think merits coverage, then this guide is for you.

Event Information
Before calling, research your needs and ask the following questions: 
1.What is your primary message?
2.Who do you want to reach?
3.Do you want publicity in advance or after the fact? 

If you want publicity in advance, we can do the best job for you if contact is made at least 8 weeks prior to your event. Don't drop in. We might be in a meeting, trying to help someone else, and we'd rather not keep you waiting. Your best bet is to call us - if we're not immediate available, we'll be glad to call you back. 

Deadlines are critical. Due to the heavy demand on our facilities, production is tightly scheduled. Not having all the materials can cause production delays. If you anticipate a problem, please call in advance, and we'll be glad to work with you to resolve the problem. 

Let us know how we're doing. If you have any suggestions on how we can improve our services, we want to hear from you. Your opinions are important to us. 

TV24 Local News
At TV24 News, we strive to provide factual, balanced coverage of newsworthy events and issues in East Alabama.   

Viewers are encouraged to contact the News Department whenever they want to inform us of upcoming events, feature stories or other news items.   Please provide the information (who, what, when, where, and why) in writing, at least one week in advance.  News Tip

Children's Programming
WJXS-TV24 supports education, offering children's programming that is both compelling and informative, designed to encourage our kids to think while they are entertained.

An Account Executive will be assigned, and will schedule a meeting to learn more about your business and your customers. After the initial meeting, your Account Executive will design an advertising schedule, utilizing shows on TV24 that deliver the highest concentration of your potential customers.
