Etowah High School Grant

Governor Robert Bentley announces a nearly $50,000 grant for Etowah High School in Attalla.  Students are getting the grant to develop computer and technology skills.  The grant is valuable to students seeking advanced education or employment after graduation.  .  The school system will combine the Appalachian Regional Commission grant with a $40,902 grant from U.S. Department of Education to purchase 118 new computers. The new equipment will be an important tool for the Advancing Attalla program.  The program has teachers incorporate technology into daily lessons.
