Anniston Shooting Camp

One local association is helping our injured warriors returning from the battlefield.   Anniston’s Civilian Markmanship Program offers wounded warriors activities that mirror military achievement. The soldiers have joined together for a shooting camp. The exercises at the camp will prepare many to represent the United States in para-Olympic teams.  he Anniston Civilian Marksmanship Program hosts an 80 firing point air gun range with state-of-the-art electronic targets and display systems. It is one of the finest Olympic-class air gun ranges in the western hemisphere. The mission of the Civilian Marksmanship Program is to promote firearm safety and marksmanship training. The soldiers come together in this common venue for shooting. Some soldiers find healing.  The main purpose of the Civilian Marksmanship Program is to strengthen our country’s national defense capabilities. They Marine Shooting Program was formed in 2009. The get together four to five times a year to put on trials, put on camps, and participate in wounded warrior games. Wounded warriors come from all over the country.
