Proposed Teacher Pay Raises In Alabama

Governor Robert Bentley says he plans to propose an increase in pay for educational employees.

Bentley hasn't said how much of a raise it would be yet. During the 2013 session, lawmakers approved a 2 percent cost of living raise for teachers. The 2014 session begins in January.
