JSU Offense Leading the Way

Thursday, December 12, 2013

The Jacksonville State football team is gearing up for the program’s biggest game since joining the FCS. The Gamecocks have played well in all phases of the game, but it’s the offense that’s leading the stride as they get set to play Eastern Washington in the quarterfinal round of the FCS.

In the last three games JSU has come out swinging. When you combine their first half performances in wins over McNeese State, Samford and Southeast Missouri, they have outscored their opponents 81-6. That domination has created a nice atmosphere for the defense to attack; whichled to which led to an OVC record 11 sacks against McNeese State.
