Nathan Wehunt Resigns as Ohatchee Head Football Coach
In local high school high school football news, Ohatchee High School is on the search for a new head coach. Former coach Nathan Wehunt confirmed to TV24 on Wednesday that he has resigned his post as the Indians football coach.
Wehunt took over the program last season after serving as defensive coordinator at Cherokee County. Wehunt helped lead the Warriors to the 2009 state championship, but wins were hard to come by on the Creekbank. Ohatchee won 2 games last season and finished 1-9 this year. Wehunt will stay on board with the school through the end of the year. TV24 has not learned when Ohatchee is expected to name its next head football coach.
