Anniston's Aging Conference

Alabama’s Cooperative Extension is working to make sure senior citizens are prepared for what happens once they’ve passed away. The Urban Affairs and Nontraditional programs held a Successful Aging Initiative Conference in Anniston today. They focused on educating seniors about wills of advanced directives and powers of attorney.  Burton says many seniors aren’t aware there are so many community agencies willing to help them plan for the future. Huntsville native Kevin Crenshaw served as today’s keynote speaker. He’s a legal consultant and educator.
