JSU Looks to Add to Impressive Road Record

The historic season for Jacksonville State’s football team continues into the quarterfinal round of the playoffs this weekend. For the second straight week, the Gamecocks will have to play on the road. However, their performance this season indicates that is actually not a bad thing.

The road has been a friendly place for the Gamecocks this year. Entering this weekend’s contest against Eastern Washington, they are an eye-popping 6-1 away from Burgess-Snow Field. The guys credit an extra focus they take with them as they travel and they will need it again this weekend as they play on the red turf against the No. 3 team in the country.
