ASD Student Takes Top Honors

An Alabama School for the Deaf student takes top honors at a national conference. Joshua Edwards, a 10th grader from Alabama School for the Deaf, won the impressive title of Mr. Junior National Association for the Deaf. Edwards earned the award during the Junior National Association for the Deaf National Conference held in Washington, D.C. He will represent the Junior National Association for the Deaf at this summer’s 2014 National Association of the Deaf conference in Atlanta. The theme of the national Conference was “Together We Connect: Reach. Engage. Act. Lead.”
