Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind’s E.H. Gentry Technical Facility is beginning the New Year with an award of another accreditation. The facility received a three-year award from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. The following programs will receive the advantages of the recognition: Vision Rehabilitation Services: Comprehensive Vision Rehabilitation Service, Assistive Technology Supports and Services, Community Employment Services: Job Development, and Comprehensive Vocational Evaluation Services. This latest accreditation is the third consecutive three-year endorsement that the international approving body has given to E.H. Gentry. It also represents the highest level of accreditation that can be presented to an organization.
