Etowah County's Habitat For Humanity

Etowah County’s Habitat for Humanity is gearing up to help transform the lives of 3 local families.  They are ready to build for them.  Currently, Habitat for Humanity is accepting applications from interested partner families for enrollment in the New Year.  Habitat for Humanity helps families break the cycle of poverty and provides the foundation to build long-term financial security.  Partner families must volunteer 300 hours of sweat equity and attend partnership classes. The families will have a mortgage. Habitat for Humanity requires a steady source of income for the partner families. The organization helps families break the cycle of poverty and provides the foundation to build long-term financial security. Habitat for Humanity is actively looking for volunteers with carpentry skills.
