Four Terms of Life Imprisonment

Johnnie Fox, Jr. receives four terms of life imprisonment for rape, sodomy and aggravated child abuse. An Etowah County jury convicted him on the charges last November. Allegations into the crimes began in December of 2011. Prosecutors say Fox had physically abused two children on numerous occasions, and that their mother had been present and had done nothing to prevent the abuse. Both were arrested on charges of child abuse. After additional investigation, Fox was charged with rape and sodomy of a child less than twelve years of age, and the original charges were upgraded to Aggravated Child Abuse.
