Saturday, January 18, 2014

Anniston High School students got a taste of what it takes to make noteworthy film.  Jeffrey Nichols, artist-in-residence at JSU, and Annie Brunson, president of YellowHammer Filmmakers and buyersUSA Consulting partner, conducted five workshops today.  100 students who showed an interest in making videos for the City of Storytellers Video competition participated in the meetings.  Senator Marsh gave money to purchase five cameras, damage warranties, and editing software.  The workshops have implications for innovation in education and economic development for Anniston.
