Lt. Governor Kay Ivey today shared her thoughts about how Alabamians met the huge challenges of the winter storms. She also took some time to praise the work of common of the state legislature during the storms. The work of the Alabama State Legislature was delayed because of the effects of the winter storms. The House was unable to get a quorum last week. But, the Senate eventually met with several bills passed. Ivey says both of these bills will prevent Alabama from undergoing any BRAC review that may be coming.
