Talladega County Schools Featured in National Education Celebration

A local school system gets national recognition for its effective and progressive use of twenty-first century technology in its classrooms.  TV24 visited Munford High School, Munford Middle School, and Munford Elementary School for Digital Learning Day.  The schools were featured in a national learning day celebration spearheaded by the Alliance for Excellent Education.  The school system was highlighted during a webcast of the Digital Learning Day national showcase from the Library of Congress in Washington, DC. Talladega School System officials, teachers, and students spoke to dozens of teachers from the Washington, DC area and thousands of educators across the United States. Talladega School Superintendent, Dr. Suzanne Lacey and students are in Washington, D.C. today to give presentations on projects they created using technology.
