Berman Museum Chinese New Year Celebration in Anniston

Two-thousand fourteen is known as the year of the horse in the Chinese Culture. And, our region will have the opportunity to ring in the Chinese New Year with the second annual Chinese New Year celebration at the Berman Museum of World History. The museum will host a day of family friendly Chinese culture and history on Saturday, February eighth, from 10:00am until 3:00pm. Some of the day’s highlights will include: storytelling, art, paper folding demonstrations and more. Visitors may also take part in guided tours. Among the day’s special guests will be local artist Jack Hadder, and James Ambrister who will bring equipment for solar viewing. Admission is five dollars for adults, four dollars for children ages four through seventeen, and free for age three and under.
