High School AP Students Excel in Alabama
More Alabama high school students are taking A-P classes and scoring higher on the A-P exams. Participation in A-P classes by high school students has increased more than 250 percent. 1,000 more students are scoring a grade of three or higher. That’s higher than the average ten years ago. And, there’s even more good news for Alabama high school students from the Alabama State Board of Education, officials say, 50 high schools across the state will participate in a pilot of a new computer science course that will become an A-P course in 2016.
