Kiwanis Club Pancake Day in Gadsden

Kiwanis members were joined today by students from the local Key Clubs and Builders Clubs to begin the prep work for one of the area’s longest-running and most successful fundraisers. Volunteers will begin serving pancakes, sausage and drinks at Convention Hall in Gadsden at 6:00am and will serve continuously until 2:00pm. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $5 each. Carry-outs will be available for an additional $1 surcharge. Since its beginning in 1957, Gadsden Kiwanis Pancake Day has raised more than 1.5 million dollars that has all been used to benefit children’s charities and organizations throughout Etowah County.
