Westbrook Christian Boys Prep for Regional Final

Six champions crowned on Friday and six more will take home the hardware on Saturday. The Westbrook Christian boys one of the local teams. TV24 Sports caught up with the Warriors on Friday afternoon ahead of their regional final matchup. Westbrook has a 24-4 this season and ranked fifth in the state. Their victory on Wednesday over LaFayette, put them in the regional final against Lanett. The Warriors have already made school history becoming the first team ever to reach the final. The Warriors are led by Colin Edwards averages who close to 20 per game and was named the Etowah County Player of the Year. It's clear that the strength of their success is their foundation as a team. Westbrook is just one win away from the Final Four and their matchup in the final is against Lanett, the same team that put them out in the semifinals last season. 9:00am- Woodland vs. Lanet (2A Girls) 10:40am Westbrook Chr. vs. Lanett (2A Boys) 2:00pm- Saks vs. Holly Pond (3A Boys) 3:40pm- Anniston vs. Jacksonville (4A Girls)
