Pistol Permit Bill

The Alabama State Senate hears an Alabama bill that supports citizens’ 2nd Amendment right. The Alabama bill would allow people to carry loaded pistols in cars. The bill wants people to be able to carry a loaded pistol in their vehicle without a concealed carry permit. Current law allows carriage of a pistol without a permit. However, the weapon has to be unloaded, locked away and out of reach. The Senate Judiciary Committee will vote next week.
