Anniston Community Health Study

Investigators with the National Cancer Institute visit the Calhoun County Health Department in Anniston to observe the progress of participants of the Anniston Community Health Survey. The agency is conducting a follow-up study that will help determine the health status of the original participants. The original study that took place between 2005 and 2007 measured levels of P-C-Bs in the blood of 776 Anniston residents. The study has already interviewed and obtained blood samples from about 200 people. The goal is to reach a total of 500 people.
