Drugs Destroyed in Anniston

Saturday, March 15, 2014

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s office has disposed of more than 2,500 pounds of drugs that they’ve seized. Calhoun County investigators worked with officials from the Center for Domestic Preparedness to get rid of the material. They used one of the C-D-Ps incinerators. The sheriff says he’s proud of his people and that seizing this much contraband is important to keeping drugs away from our young people and other residents.
