Cyber Safety Campaign in Alabama

Internet safety continues to be an issue for both the old and the young. And, today, with the popularity of social media and other person-to-person communication system outlets within the homes of millions of Americans, we are finding that our young people are at risk for exploitation. The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, in collaboration with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children has launched a first-of-its-kind national cyber safety campaign to give parents and kids tips on how to avoid falling victim to online sexual predators. The campaign uses super hero-style characters and trading cards developed specifically for the program. Law enforcement personnel will visit schools and youth groups across the country to remind young computer users to "think before you click."
