The 12th annual Noble Street Festival is here and kicks off this Friday evening in Anniston. The festivities begin with a free concert in Zinn Park featuring Morris Day and The Time beginning at 8:00PM. The jam packed three day event will continue at 10:00AM on Saturday and will be full of affordable family fun. People from all over the country will gather in Downtown Anniston this weekend to witness professional bicycle racing and enjoy plenty of food, fun, music and other special events. The weekend’s events will also include some off-site cycling competitions -including the 22nd Cheaha Challenge which starts in Jacksonville at Jacksonville State University’s Pete Mathews Coliseum and the 5th Annual Foothills Classic Road Race in Piedmont. Both of those events take place on Sunday. Festival attendees will also be able to enjoy food from 12 area restaurants, and a free KidZone. If you can’t make it to the festival you can still catch the bicycle racing live online at NOBLESTREETFESTIVAL.COM. The festival is a benefit for the Calhoun County Relay For Life event. Festival planners are expecting a crowd of more than 6000 attendees.
