Dre Kirkpatrick Gets Ready for Third Season
Wallace Gilberry, Damion Square, Jerrell Harris and Mark Barron were just a few of many former Crimson Tide players in Gadsden on Thursday for the 21 Kids Foundation. The organization was started by Gadsden native Dre Kirkpatrick. Kirkpatrick is now with the Cincinnati Bengals and he invited fellow pro football players to help raise money for the foundation. After bouncing back from injuries in his rookie year, Kirkpatrick played well last season with 30 tackles, 3 interceptions including a pick-six against the Ravens and he says he wants to grow more in his third season. Kirkpatrick will have a little time off this spring then open up organized team activities in May and training camp in June.
