The utility company says that it will continue operating spillway gates at its Weiss, Neely Henry and Logan Martin dams on the Coosa River over the next few days. According to Alabama Power, this week's storms caused Weiss Lake on the Coosa River to rise just above summer pool elevation. However, they expect levels to remain under 565 feet. Logan Martin's lake level will approach 467 feet tomorrow. Alabama Power will continue to closely monitor conditions on the lakes that they manage.
