Education Trust Fund Budget

Governor Robert Bentley continues to make strides for education in Alabama. The governor signed into law the largest single-year funding increase for Alabama’s First Class Pre-K program which will allow for nearly 100 new high-quality, state-funded and voluntary pre-k classrooms to open next year. The new $38.5 million Education Trust Fund Budget is a $10 million dollar increase over last year’s level of funding for the state’s pre-k program for four-year-olds.
