Autism Awareness Event in Jacksonville

The Gamecock Auto Spa in Jacksonville is sponsoring what they’re calling an “Autism Wash” tomorrow from 8:00AM until 7:00PM to help bring awareness to Autism and raise funds to donate to The Learning Tree. The owners of the auto spa will have hotdogs and hamburgers on hand for lunch that the public can enjoy for a small donation. They’ll also be giving away a gas card from Chevron, fireworks, and a Jefferson’s restaurant gift card. And, for you Gamecock football fans, Coach John Grass will stop by at 11:00AM for a meet and greet. Research shows that autism is a complex developmental disability that typically appears during the first three years of life and affects a person’s ability to communicate and interact with others. There is no known single cause of autism, but increased awareness and funding can help families today. You can drop off donations at Xtreme Auto Spa in Lenlock or Gamecock Auto Spa in Jacksonville.
