Gadsden State Presidential Candidates Interviewed

The five candidates who are competing for the President’s office at Gadsden State Community College faced intensive interviews today and question-answer meetings with the public. The candidates were chosen from an original pool of 11 applicants. Each candidate today faced an hour-long interview with Alabama Community College System Chancellor Mark Heinrich and an hour-long question and answer session with members of the public. The five candidates are Dr. Valerie Richardson of Anniston – who is currently a Vice-President at the school. Dr. James Rook of Mena, Arkansas – Dr. Hank Dunn of Weaverville, North Carolina – Dr. Paul Gasparro of Beachwood, Ohio – and Dr. William Rule of Acworth, Georgia. Officials with the Community College System say that they hope to have a new president in place by June 1st.
