Saks Preps For Alexandria in Spring Jam

Our preview of high school football teams heading into spring games continues tonight with Saks. The Wildcats lost a core group of seniors that led team to a perfect regular season and one of the highest scoring offense in the state. Head coach Jonathan Miller is confident in the juniors that will return; but says great football starts with the fundamentals, so that is where their focus is this spring. The Wildcats face off against Alexandria in the Pigskin Roundup Spring Jam next week and they hope it is a start to another magical season. Saks enjoyed the best season in school history with a 13-1 record and a trip to the Class 3A state semi-finals. Miller says the team will have to balance the way they look at last season- both as an great accomplishment and a drive for more. Saks will play the Valley Cubs in the final game of the two-day Pigskin Roundup Spring Jam. Full matchups of the Spring Jam and TV24 Regional Gridiron Challenge listed below.
