White Plains Softball Prepares for Another State Tournament

It’s not quite “been there, done that” but the White Plains softball team is very familiar with the territory they are about to enter. The Lady Wildcats are one of the final eight teams left in the state playing for a shot at the crown. It’s the fourth consecutive season they’ve earned a berth into the final grouping. For most of this season, White Plains has been in the top two in the state polls and they’ve held the top spot since April 3rd; but their demeanor all season has been pressure-free and they will keep it that way. The Wildcats are one of four local teams playing for a state title in 

 

Thursday

1A- Ragland vs. Addison- 9:00 am

3A- White Plains vs. West Morgan- 10:30 am

4A- Alexandria vs. Headland- 12:00 pm

4A- Cleburne County vs. Alabama Christian- 10:30 am

*All Games at Lagoon Park (Montgomery)

*Double Elimination
