Jacksonville City Approves Tax Break

The Jacksonville City Council approves a major tax break for one of its local manufacturers.  According the Bear and Sons Cutlery president and owner, Mr. Ken Griffey, the city Council tax break will help Bear And Son Cutlery produce more knives, pick up more customers, and save on property taxes for the next 10 years.   The tax break is on more than $470,000 dollars worth of equipment that includes a chiller for their water system, two grinders currently being manufactured in Germany, and a new mill.  In the long run the company will save more than $12,000 dollars on the equipment.  Bear and Son Cutlery is located at 1111 Bear Boulevard in Jacksonville.
