Two Gadsden men are each charged with one count of first degree theft of property and one count of third degree burglaryThe two men are believed to have broken into West End Elementary School last Thursday and stolen items valued at more than $4,000 dollars. According to the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office, Robbie Tucker and Tony Morgan stole items that include : twelve digital cameras, a walkie talkie set, dozens of instructional DVDs and 10 hand held electronics. In addition to the stolen items, damage to the building and equipment left behind is estimated at more than $2,000 dollars. The Etowah County Sheriff’s Office assisted by the Attalla Police Department, were able to recover and return two digital cameras, a Kindle Fire HD and anIPad power cord. During the investigation, an investigator discovered Tucker was in possession of an air conditioner that was stolen, in April, from Carnes Chapel Church in Attalla. Tucker has also been charged with one count of second degree receiving stolen property. Tucker was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center and later released on $10,000 bond. Morgan is currently being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on $7,500 bond.
