Cattle Thefts Arrests

Cattle farmers in the community of New Harmony can rest a little easier tonight. The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office announces the arrest of David Fulmer of Collinsville and Eddie Fulmer of Albertville for the recent cattle thefts of dozens of cattle in the Southern DeKalb County area.  Sheriff's officials have said the cattle and farm equipment were reported stolen from farms between May 13th and May 24th. David Fulmer is charged with 2 counts of Theft of Property 1st for the cattle thefts and Eddie Fulmer is charged with 2 counts of Theft of Property 1st, receiving Stolen Property 3rd, and Promoting Prison Contraband.  Authorities recovered some stolen property during the investigations.  Additional charges are pending at this time and both suspects were booked into the DeKalb County Detention Center.  The investigation is continuing.
