Charged: Making a Terrorist Threat

According to a press release from the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office, authorities arrest a Glencoe man for making a terrorist threat. Floyd Vaughn is charged with one count of making a terrorist threat, which is a felony. Vaughn told a Hokes Bluff police officer on May 25th , that he did not appreciate the way a Glencoe police officer had spoken to him at a previous incident and that he was going to shoot the officer the next time he encountered him. Vaughn was taken into custody today by Sheriff Todd Entrekin during a traffic stop and is being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on a $2,500 bond.
