Arrested for Domestic Violence

After an altercation on Friday night, Gadsden Police arrest an Etowah County’s Sheriff’s detention center employee on charges of domestic violence. According to Sgt. Chumley of the Gadsden Police Department, George Bullock Jr., of Gadsden, was arrested Friday night after an altercation where he attempted to use a stun gun on another man. The incident took place at a parking lot in the 500 block between Broad and Locust streets. Chumley said Bullock and a woman he had been with inside a nearby bar argued because the woman had been dancing with another man. Bullock grabbed the woman by the neck and when the other man tried to intervene, Bullock grabbed the stun gun from the duty belt he wears at the Etowah County Detention Center and tried to use it.
