Gasoline Prices in Alabama Have Fallen

Alabama summer travelers have something to smile about. They aren’t paying as much at the pump as they used to. According to a recent survey by GasBuddy, average retail gasoline prices in Alabama have fallen 3.2 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.41 per gallon yesterday. This compares with the national average that has fallen 0.9 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.63 per gallon, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com. Included in the change in gas prices in Alabama during the past week, prices yesterday were 15.8 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 11.5 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average has increased 0.3 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 0.4 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.
