LSU D-Line Coach Brick Haley Returns Home to Gadsden

He has found success at the height of both college and pro football, but Gadsden native Brick Haley has never lost his sense of home. The Emma Sansom grad is back in Etowah County this week for a great cause.

Haley will serve as the host of a golf tournament tomorrow to support his foundation Brick Road to Success. TV24 Sports caught up with the coach in Gadsden this evening as they get set to start the big event. Brick Road to Success helps raise money and awareness for those with Autism and their families. As you could imagine, the life of an SEC football coach is as close to jam packed as it gets, but Haley says taking the few days off to support the community and the foundation is well worth it.

Spots are available to play in the tournament on Thursday. Along with Haley, LSU defensive coordinator John Chavis and other coaches from the SEC will be on hand.

While we had Haley with us, we got a chance to chat about a local star making waves down in Baton Rouge. Former Oxford star Kwon Alexander (#25 in the video) has seen playing time since his freshman season and Haley says he is quickly blossoming into a big time player at LSU.
