The first annual Brick Roads to Success Golf Tournament is in the books. The tourney is hosted by LSU Defensive line coach and Gadsden native Brick Haley.
TV24 Sports dropped by Twin Bridges Golf Club in Gadsden for the action. More than 30 golfers hit the course today for some fun and for a great cause. The proceeds of the Brick Roads to Success go to Autism Speaks- an organization that raises money and awareness to children with Autism. Haley was joined by his old Etowah County friends and his coaching friends including LSU defensive coordinator John Chavis.
In just a few months both Haley and Chavis will be back in Baton Rouge looking to solidify another top defensive unit. In the last two seasons, LSU has sent a national best 18 players to the NFL and seven on defense. The golf tournament is expected to roll back around next year.
