Junior Police Academy

Calhoun County High School juniors and seniors have the opportunity to spend some quality time this summer training as police.  The Junior Police Academy is a one week training program taking place June 23rd through June 27th.  It is offered free to qualified applicants.  The academy allows students to have real hands on police training in the areas of: traffic stops, domestic violence situations, firearms, investigations, first aid and many other activities. Students will receive training materials, uniforms, meals and snacks.  Funding for the program is made possible through a grant from the Anniston Police Outreach Fund of the Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama.
