Alabama Power The Good Roots Grant Program

Alabama power foundation partners with the Alabama Urban Forestry Association to supply $1,000 grants to the City of Jacksonville and to Jacksonville State University. The two grants are part of The Good Roots grant program and are for the purchase of trees that will be planted in Jacksonville on the university’s campus . Representatives from Jacksonville State University and the City of Jacksonville say that they appreciate the company’s efforts to help keep Alabama beautiful and vibrant. Alabama Power says that they are proud to support cities, towns, communities, and nonprofit organizations across the state through the Alabama Power Foundation.

The trees will be planted near the end of the year in December.
