A national league that develops high school Mountain biking programs for student athletes across the United States held a pep rally meeting to discuss the formation of a local league at the Anniston Museum Complex last night.

Founded in 2009, NICA will become part of local high school systems by forming student clubs that aren’t part of the Alabama High School Athletic Association, but will provide opportunities for student athletes to compete in individual and team races. The local league of NICA is creating is the 13th league. And, there are already four races scheduled for Spring of 2015.
