Junior Law Enforcement Academy Training

Friday, June 27, 2014

The Junior Law Enforcement Academy continues its week long training in Anniston.

Today, students wore fatal vision goggles to simulate the impairment of drunk driving.   Instructors are hoping that today’s lesson taught the students about the consequences of drunk driving. According to academy student Janasia Birt, the Junior Law Enforcement Academy is teaching them what law enforcement officers see on a day to day basis.  And, it’s allowing students to see law enforcement officers in a different light. The Junior Law Enforcement Academy will end tomorrow with a graduation ceremony for all participants.
