A Way Out Day Program
A day program for young ladies who are runaways, or are coming out of detention programs, maybe were once in the foster care system, or even a product of human trafficking has a new place to call home. A Way Out Day Program, located in Anniston is a 12 week program that teaches young ladies survival skills. The program offers interview techniques, job placement, and higher education opportunities in collaboration with local businesses and even the National Guard.
According to Executive Director Claudia Elston – who is a recovering drug and alcohol addict – it’s a place where ladies that need help can come and get practical life skills combined with a whole lot of love.
