Public Intoxication: Christine Saunders

An intoxicated Fyffe woman rides to a store on a horse and ends up in the DeKalb County Detention Center. According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, Christine Saunders stole items from a store at Hammonds Crossroads while intoxicated on July 5th. Police arrived and found Saunders with the stolen items. She had a horse tied up outside of the store that officials believe she was riding. The horse was later returned to the owner who did not want to press charges. Saunders was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication, Illegal Possession of a Prohibited Beverage and was transported to the DeKalb County Detention center.
