Medical Examiners Positively Identify Body of Margie Mize

In our top story, Medical examiners have positively identified the body found inside a wrecked car as that of 45-year-old Margie Mize. Mize had been missing since June 24. Anniston police investigators found her overturned car yesterday morning while walking along Cleburne County Road 24 looking for the Anniston woman. Authorities are still waiting on autopsy results to release the official cause of death, but they say evidence at the crash scene indicates that Mize died in a traffic accident. Police say the car appeared to have left the road and struck a tree, then overturned in a wooded ravine. Mize's dog was found alive in the area.
