An Etowah County man in custody for sexual abuse and sodomy is facing an additional charge. According to Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin, today, 61-year-old Roy Pruett of Gadsden was served with one count of first degree sexual abuse. Pruett was arrested and charged yesterday, with two counts of first degree sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years old and two counts of first degree sodomy.  The additional charge came after another person came forward with allegations of abuse against Pruett.  Pruett is accused of sexually abusing the children at his home in Gadsden beginning in 2011. He was formerly employed by the Eagle Rock Boys Ranch. Pruett is in the Etowah County Detention Center with a $375,000 cash bond.
