Commissioner Graduates from Alabama Local Government Training Institute

A Cherokee County Commissioner joins a select group of 86 Alabama County Commissioners as she meets all the requirements to be designated a Graduate of the Alabama Local Government Training Institute. )  All County Commissioners are required to complete 50 hours of training as part of the Alabama Local Government Training Institute Basic Program. Commissioner Marcie Foster has the distinction of being the only Cherokee County Commissioner to complete the Graduate Program.  She chose to dedicate the time and effort necessary to do so in her desire to learn as much as possible about the workings of local government in order to better serve the county.
