Chamber Job Station Has More Than 1,000 Job Placements

One local job placement agency reaches a milestone this month. The local Chamber Job Station of Calhoun County has helped to place more than 1000 job applicants back into the workforce. According to Job Station Executive Program Manager, Sherri Sumners, the station has registered more than 3,400 people. Today, she shared about their intake process and program. The free job placement service is offered by the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce Foundation and the East Alabama Regional Planning and Development Commission.
