Charged: Endangering Welfare of a Child

Hokes Bluff Police arrest three people for endangering the welfare of two children. According to Hokes Bluff Police Lieutenant Richard Garmon, the investigation into the incident took place after a tragedy was narrowly avoided in early July. The Hokes Bluff Police Department received a call about two small children wandering in the Euclid Road area and then a second call before the police had gotten to the scene about a child falling into a swimming pool. Thankfully, the boy was okay. Authorities say the parents and guardians of both the 3-year-old boy and the 4-year-old girl were at home and they didn’t notice that the children were gone.
